In essentials, unity...
In opinions, liberty...
But in all things, love.

OUR MISSION

Our purpose is found at the crossroads of "The Greatest Commandment" and "The Great Commission."

Mark 12:30-31, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.  The second is this:  'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  There is no commandment greater than these."

Matthew 28:18-20, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

OUR VISION

We will be a faithful community of believers:
-Passionate about the love of Christ
-Rooted in and transformed by the Word of God
-Presenting Christ in a culturally relevant way
-Pursuing excellence to glorify God
-Living lives that are Christ-centered and eternally focused
-Serving Christ by serving others
-Praising God through lives of worship
-Sharing our hope in Christ to Grow God’s Kingdom

OUR HERITAGE

We're committed to God's written Word first and foremost. We consider the Bible the final authority on all matters of faith and practice.

NHCC is a "Restoration Movement" church. That means we recognize ourselves as Christians only with no denominational label - but not the only Christians. The basis of the Restoration Movement was to break down denominational and traditional barriers. Our goal is, in every practical way, to restore the Church to the practice and teaching of the original Church as it was exemplified in the New Testament.

Where the Bible speaks, we speak... and where the Bible is silent, we are silent. This naturally allows much room for opinions in areas of biblical silence, yet no room for compromise in the matters of God's will as revealed in His word. Therefore, we adopt the motto "In essentials, unity... in opinions, liberty... but in all things, love."
